Two landscape artists and one local photographer united in a shared passion for our wonderful South Pennines countryside to take you on a tour of the fabulous landscapes and life that surround the Tour de France Grand Depart.

Jeff Beaumont   - Watercolour artist: Jeff has been sharing his love of the rural landscape and farmlands on canvas for over 30 years, and has exhibited his work throughout the North of England.  He is fascinated by the ways the farmers have of holding things together, and the many buildings in various stages of dereliction, never to be seen again.

Sandie Nicholson - Holme Valley Photographer: Over 400 of Sandie's photographs documenting the local life and landscapes of the South Pennines have featured on TV.  As well as the ever changing weather of the Pennines, she loves to capture humour in her photos, and the local sheep are often willing posers!

Bruce Mulcahy - Oil and Gouache Artist : Bruce creates all of his paintings entirely outdoors: The important thing for him is to react directly to the landscape and the particular colours, textures and light of the moment. He has exhibited in numerous galleries across the country, including The Mall Galleries, London; Manchester Academy of Fine Arts; House of Commons; and Leeds City Art Gallery. He is a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists.

Yorkshire Festival is a celebration by and for Yorkshire as we get ready to welcome the Grand Départ. The Festival is the first ever arts festival to accompany the Tour de France in its 111 years.
